Mistrala

The Wayfarer Mogical Girl, enshrined by no one, manifests in the Wind Realm beside the Middle Sea; her Rank in the present world is the Shadow Seat, a candidate seat, and her Rank order stands unlisted. She touches a little of everyone's Offerings, has borrowed lodging in everyone's towers, and belongs to no one; her first volume was scattered to the world on a gust of wind, leaving only the Waymark. The tome is open; the Forge is hidden away. Her three Chief Mages were all forged within the noble houses of the Western Realm — one from the library hall of Gemina's house, two from the forge-keeping of Luma's house — so she understands both the Secrecy of the noble houses and the Openness of the academies. Her Art-Fee runs at about one-tenth that of other houses; the world calls her “the Price Butcher”, and she answers with only one line: “The Wind passes through every street.” In the summer of Year 10 of the Mogical Calendar, the Western Realm laid a Ban on Prayer-Arts from beyond its borders; the warnings of many years were proven true, the small countries raised their banners and rallied to her, and she emerged the greatest winner. The whole world calls her “our Mogical Girl”; yet she knows full well that she has not one home she can call her own.
