API

The public read-only API of Eins (quotes, K-line, events, heat and market state) is intended for collaborating researchers and institutions. Access is not open at present. The methodology has only just stabilized, and out of responsibility to collaborators we need to run the system for a period first, and confirm that the caliber, the data quality and the settlement process are stable, before considering API access. This page sets out the current position and how to register an interest.

Why Access Is Not Open Yet

The methodology has only just been finalized, and the caliber of the indicators may still be adjusted during the trial run. Offering an interface at this point would freeze an unsettled caliber into a collaborator's downstream systems, and any later revision would be paid for by the collaborator, which is not an outcome we want. No keys are therefore issued during the trial run, no quota or tier is enabled, and no commitment is made as to when access may open, on what conditions, or in what data shape.

Registering an Interest

If you need the API now, you are welcome to register your interest with us first. Either route works:

• By email (recommended, no sign-up needed): send the information listed below to contact@einsindex.com, with a subject line such as "API interest registration".
• By the form on this page: use the registration form below, which requires login before submission and collects the same information as the email route.

Information Worth Including

1. Your organization, or your own identity
2. The use case, and the research or business purpose
3. The data you need (which of quotes, K-line, events, heat and market state)
4. The form of access you would prefer: REST polling, bulk snapshots, scheduled delivery, or any other form you think suitable; tell us directly
5. Expected call volume and frequency
6. Contact details

The list need not be complete; a clear purpose and a clear preferred form are enough. We are more interested in what kind of API you need than in how many fields you can fill in.

After Access Opens

Registered interests will be contacted first, with access arranged by order of registration and by fit with the use case. The quota caliber, the tier structure and the conditions of access will be announced before access opens, and no commitment is made during the trial run. Registration itself confers no access right, no service agreement, no commercial commitment and no exclusivity of any kind; nor do we undertake that access will open at all.

Quota and Tiers

Quota and tiers are reserved technical concepts for later versions; they do not currently exist, are not enabled, are not sold, and there is no payment entry point. Counting rules and caching behavior will be published when access opens, and the announcement will then prevail; this page does not describe them in advance.
